The best suggestion for improving your mental health via diet is to track your caloric and nutritional intake. Now, you may not be able to track every calorie that goes into your body, but you can take the food properties into account.

Sleep

Sleeping marks the completion of the holy trinity fitness along with diet and exercise. It is only natural to assume your brain and body need a rest after a hard day’s work. But the common misconception that hoards us that abiding by the recommended 7-9 hours of sleep is good enough.

Whereas recent studies show, your sleep quality is as important as the duration. Poor sleep quality doesn’t let your brain or body recover completely. And as a result, hinders your physical and mental ability to handle the stress of daily tasks.
